Bio
This is a journal created for the Marvel Mansion RPG. This journal will be shared by Peggy Carter, Fabian Stankowicz, Michael O'Brien, and John Jameson. Other Avengers staff may also be covered by this journal.

Peggy Carter: Peggy Carter was the daughter of Harrison and Amanda Carter, two wealthy Virginians, and the older sister of Sharon Carter. Peggy was a heroic freedom fighter during World War II, idealistically dedicated to ending Nazi oppression and therefore joined the French Resistance while she was still a teenager. She fell in love with Captain America for a time while serving with him, and was distraught when she learned of his death. She even fell under the mental influence of Dr. Faustus, but Cap freed her from his grasp, after which she regained her mental bearings, served as a member of SHIELD, and as a staff member of the Avengers. Peggy's sister Sharon was inspired by her elder sister and joined SHIELD, even romancing Captain America for a time before her death. Peggy maintains ties to SHIELD, but she now serves as the communications officer for the Avengers.

Fabian Stankowicz: Fabian Stankowicz is an inventive genius, skilled at designing armored battlesuits, robots, security devices, and accessories. Fabian was fortunate enough to win a lottery and moved his family out of the Bronx. He decided to use his fortune to become a super-villain as the Mecho-Marauder. After several defeats, he decided to reform; though he was not accepted by the Avengers as a hero, he was invited to become their staff inventor. During his time with the Avengers, he has battled drug addiction, invented numerous devices, and been mind-controlled by several villains. He has returned to the Avengers' support staff since their rebirth.

Michael O'Brien: Police detective Michael O'Brien wrongfully blamed Iron Man (secretly Tony Stark) for the death of his brother, Kevin O'Brien, whom Stark had entrusted with an alternate version of the Iron Man armor known as the Guardsman armor. Kevin had been a close friend and employee of Stark (one of the few trusted with the secret of Stark's dual identity as Iron Man), and as the Guardsman, he functioned as a sort of backup Iron Man until his armor's malfunctioning cybernetic controls drove him mad, leading to his accidental death in battle with Iron Man. Michael O'Brien stole the Guardsman armor, intending to forcibly bring Iron Man to justice, but the suit's malfunctioning controls sent Michael on a mad rampage like his brother before him. He was subdued by Iron Man, who soon managed to convince Michael of his good character and the accidental nature of Kevin's death. Michael became a trusted friend and ally to Stark, acting as a substitute Iron Man (the third such stand-in) on more than one occasion, and was allowed to keep the Guardsman armor as his own after Stark repaired its defects.
As the Guardsman, O'Brien eventually became security chief at the U.S. government research facility Project: PEGASUS, but his Guardsman armor was wrecked in a battle with the Lava Men despite the intervention of the Avengers. The government funded the armor's rebuilding and hired O'Brien as security chief for the super-criminal prison known as the Vault, but this deal entailed building dozens of facsimiles of the suit to equip a full security force, as well as giving the government ownership of the Guardsman armor. Unhappy with the government's appropriation and duplication of his armor, and feeling redundant, O'Brien abandoned his Guardsman identity and his Vault position to accept a new job as the Avengers' security chief.

John Jameson: Son of J. Jonah Jameson and his first wife, John is a skilled pilot and astronaut. Early in his career, he had superhuman strength bestowed by an alien virus, and he had a brief turn as a superhero. Later, on a trip to the moon to collect rock samples, he found a red gemstone which he turned it into a pendant he wore. Unfortunately, the gem was a shard of the Godstone, and light of the moon on Earth made the gem melt with his skin and transformed him into a werewolf. After some time of fighting with this curse, he rid himself of the Man-Wolf form, apparently for good.
He now serves as Captain America's pilot as a part of the Avenger's ground crew.
